The body is a paradox. Cells pulsating with oxygen, the body represents the potential of life and the inevitability of death. And between life and death, the body is a repository of myriad meanings. It is human, animal, sexual, biological, political, spiritual, and so much more.
 
For Bridges 24, we invite you to explore the many layers and meanings of Soma, the ancient greek word for the body. Let your art map out the contours of what the body means to you!

Garage Arts Project (GAP), in association with Play Frisco Cultural Affairs, will host the 4th edition of the Bridges Collaboration Festival on September 21st & 22nd at the Frisco Discovery Center.
